7) The Pitch - Locations and Settings

  1. The first location:

For our location we will be filming at one of our old secondary schools called Park View
We have asked for permission and they have accepted with the condition that they get a clear plan of what is to be filmed, i.e the locations we may need within the school, if any other students that attend the school are in the production.

    The second location:
The second location will be in one of the two bedrooms. This bedroom will be made to look like the room of a nerd, it will include posters, clothes everywhere and school work (papers/books).  this is where two characters from the production will be filmed for their morning schedule.

    The third location:
The third location will be in another bedroom. This bedroom will be made to look more clean. It will be very organised, everything in place as expected to be, such as alarm clocks, clothes, school books and so on.

12) The Pitch- The Production Schedule

This is our timetable for the production of our title sequence. As shown, there are not many editing opportunities therefore we would need to attend workshops to complete the work.

5) The Pitch - Audience

Our film will have an audience rating for the reasons that it may have some events or language that does not appeal to those under 15 years of age.
Our target audience is not gender-specific because any gender can enjoy the movie, it is mostly revolved around bring humour and comedy is what attracts the audience.
Our wider audience is those that are 15-25.

3) The Pitch - Subgenres

The main genre of our film is High school drama.
However, the Subgenres of our film, such as the genres it may include will be comedy and maybe even a bit of romance. This is because comedy is a genre that attracts all types of audience and adding a bit of romance in it will make it something different.

2) The Pitch - Type of Sequence

The type of title sequence we will be using is a narrative title sequence, one that will include animations and will be playing whilst the opening scene is shown.
It will include the names of the actor/actresses and tell us the information we need to know.
It will be a quite basic font but somehow make it visual for the audience to notice.

1) The Pitch - Film ideas

Title of film:

Brief outline of film: Throughout the film we are shown different events, such as the lives of the nerds and the lives of the most popular people.
The reason that there is so much tension between the boy and one of the girls

Brief outline of opening sequence:

In the opening sequence, we are going to be presented with the main characters of the film. We are shown the characters in their daily routine, from the moment they wake up and start to get ready to go to school, to the moment they are in school. We follow them through their journey to school and it gives the audience an idea of what they might be like, the nerd or the most un-liked person in school.
When they reach to school, late, they bump into each other and tension is created, from this we instantly know who is who in this movie. At this point, we are shown the names and the actors who are starring.
