Fonts/Typeface

We have decided to use as many software such as imotion and final cut pro. Above are some examples we have looked at for our title sequence however due to our title sequence being aimed and related to teenagers we decided to have something more fun and not so serious. This is why we thought that the font and typeface for 10 things I hate about you was good, because the sketchy handwritting adds to the high school effect. However we may also want to keep our font simple but have the font move around more.

23. Who will produce our film?

We want our film to be produced by Paramount Pictures, because we believe that they are a successful company and our film is a big budget high school drama, therefore we thought that if Paramount Pictures was to produce our film this would make it more successful. Paramount Pictures have distributed and produced many films such as Mean Girls and Save The Last Dance and since both these films were very successful in the film industry and were both high school drama's we thought that it would fit in with our film too. However if our film was to be a independent film we would of gone with more cheaper companies and with a variety of different companies to distribute our film. For our film we would like Warner Bro's to distribute our film and this is because they have produced/distributed films such as all the Harry Potter series and Project X which is also aimed at teenagers just like our film.

Blogging Health Check 1

Dilara, there is evidence of some very good work on your blog which suggests you have lots of potential and could do very well in this part of the coursework.  Please can you reflect on my comments regarding strengths and less strong aspects of your current blog as it is at the minute and then complete the to do list at the bottom. If you can do this, I expect your mark and grade to increase considerably.  Lots of promise here - well done!

strengths:
- some posts completed - mostly up to date
- some detail in independent posts which is promising
- some good evidence of research

less strong:
-time management - frequency of posting and order of the tasks is a little inconsistent
- reliance on text to present ideas
- titles for the blog tasks aren't always clear

to do:
1. complete all research tasks as we move into the planning phase
2. keep up with the planning check list and try to complete tasks as we cover them in class or as soon as possible afterward
3. try to keep posts in chronological order
4. consider presentation - think of creative ways to use ICT to present your work and ideas on the blog (emaze, powtoon, kizoa, slideshare, vlogs, soundcloud, voki etc...)
