Clueless

Camera - An aerial shot of the car driving down the road, the camera doesn't follow but tilts in its way. Main character comes out of a store with bags in her hand and walks to the other side and is followed by the camera. Camera spins around three girls from their legs and skirts to then their faces and hands etc. Car pasts by camera really fast then birds eye view of the girls sitting in the car laughing. Zoom out from the girl and then follows her to the closet. Close up of the computer. High angle shot of the father running down the stairs. Camera follows the girl as she approaches her father. Two shot of the father and daughter. Shot reverse shot of the father and daughter talking. Car approaches camera, camera then changes to an aerial shot. Wide shot of the house.


Editing - At the beginning they have the indent on a blue background with bubbly font. Then the title of the film appears in the exact same way. Slow motion/ broken movements of the two main girls laughing and walking. Cross cutting appears constantly between different actions for example from the main girl shopping to her friends in a pool. Car drives away in fast speed.


Sound - Rock/Pop music of that time playing. Sound of the car driving. Voiceover of the main girl talking about her life. Song changes playing behind whilst she talks song links to the action she is doing which is looking for clothes to wear. Dialogue between father and daughter.


Mise en Scene - Designer clothes, a high school, a pool, people in swimwear etc. Girls in cars. Bedroom, Wardrobe, Computer that chooses her clothes suggests that she is rich. Kitchen is quite big again shows how rich they are. Maids and servants.
